These units are designed to separate stacked magnetic sheets such as mild steel, carbon steel, or magnetic stainless steels like 3CR12. A strong magnetic field is induced into the stack, which forces the sheets to fan apart, allowing them to be picked up one at a time either manually or by robotic handling equipment.
